I’d say Basketball is a better sport than Football health wise. Basketball is better for your health even though Football is good for a person’s health as well. It’s the risk of injury for basketball that makes it a better sport, when it comes to basketball you may sprain,roll or even break your ankle. Then when it comes to football you can get any form of injury that can be life ending or end your career because of the hit impact or movement. Especially when watching basketball it looks more of a slower pace than a careful sport.
When in football it is a high intense, hyperactive game, with pads and constant contact. You could get the impact of a person and go brain dead from the impact. While on the other hand basketball builds endurance improves balance and coordination, also self-discipline. “As a result, successful basketball athletes tend to possess high strength, power and agility while maintaining a fairly lean body composition. While most of the skill work is performed at a high intensity, a certain level of endurance is important to meet game demands throughout the duration of the contest”. “Participation in sports carries the risk of injuries, ranging from minor sprains to serious fractures or concussions, which can have long-term consequences.Pressure and Stress, Intense competition and high expectations in sports can lead to stress, burnout, and anxiety, especially among young athletes”. Football can affect a person year long even as a kid you do certain moves or jump wrong even land wrong and could potentially never play again. Don’t get me wrong basketball can cause career ending injuries but it’s not a thing to deal with or worry about every game.
Basketball players work toward strengthening the most common injury points and when games happen the injuries don’t faze them, football players do too but it’s more of the strength in the bones that helps them more then the mobility. Basketball is just a better sport. It is better health wise, better for a person’s athleticism, it causes players to always want to better themselves. Football isn’t all that bad, but I wouldn’t want to break my leg or ankle or even let alone get brain damage from a sport so intense.
Basketball is a more sportsmanship game rather than having to crush someone in half in front of their wife and kids,and basketball just gets me more excited to watch it’s more of a simple sport. This is mainly when people are putting in the work and it really shows how much effort you’ve put into it. The game of basketball is just a great sight overall…
