Background stuff: So we start off meeting our main male character named Takasu and the main girl named Taiga. Takasu is a huge clean freak, he constantly has to deal with his drunk mother who works at a bar and is often compared to his dead dad for his “scary” look. Taiga lives alone in a huge apartment because of her parents separating and other family issues we don’t know much about. She’s known at her school for being called the “palmtop tiger” for her strength. Taiga is also very short to the point people think she’s a child at times.

Plot: Ryūji Takasu, a high school student with a gentle heart but intimidating appearance, and Taiga Aisaka, a small, fierce girl known as the “Palmtop Tiger”. They form an unlikely friendship and agree to help each other confess to their respective crushes: Taiga to Ryūji’s best friend, Yusaku Kitamura, and Ryūji to Taiga’s best friend, Minori Kushieda. Their plans often backfire, but as they spend more time together, rumors spread that Ryūji and Taiga are a couple, and their own feelings begin to change for each other and eventually get together at the end of the show. 

Over all rating: Id give it a 7.8/10 the story was good but it feels incomplete at the end i wish Toradora got a season 2 since season 1 left off feeling unfinished.
