My name is Hanzla and I’m a student at North High School. I love journalism and enjoy finding and sharing stories that are important to my classmates and our community. Being part of the school newspaper gives me the chance to write about different topics and highlight what matters to students.

I’m a big sports fan and spend a lot of my time watching games whether it’s basketball, football or soccer. Following my favorite teams keeps me excited and inspires my writing. I believe sports can bring people together and start great conversations and I try to capture that in my articles.

When I’m not working on school projects I enjoy playing video games and hanging out with my friends. Whether we’re gaming or just relaxing together I love the time we spend and the fun we have.

I think journalism is an important way to tell stories and connect with others. I’m excited to keep improving my skills, learning from my experiences and contributing to the awesome culture at North High School.
