In the end while some NBA trades fights and MVP picks may seem strange it’s really just the league trying to keep fans interested. Things might seem planned but it’s all about making the game exciting and fun to watch.
Has the thought ever ran through your mind that the NBA might be faked or staged and there are plenty of reasons why this theory might be true like fake MVP’s intended fights on the court and more.
If you have noticed recently the viewership in the NBA has been declining and a lot of crazy stunts has also happened recently and this can’t just be a coincidence right?… right? for example recently one of the craziest NBA trade just happened Luka Doncic getting traded from the Dallas Mavericks to the Lakers and mind you the franchise was supposed to be built around him and he randomly gets traded as the NBA viewership drops. You might think they had a good reason to trade him or he got traded for even a better player but now he got traded for Anthony Davis and some picks. The detestably best player in the league gets traded for Anthony Davis who is barely top 10 in the league right now. And also 2 or 3 weeks after Luka Lakers debut he plays the Dallas Mavericks the team he just got traded from.Don’t you think that is kind of crazy he plays the team he just got traded from 2 weeks after his debut. If you don’t think that might have been a crazy stunt to return some kind of attention or viewership back to NBA then i don’t know what is.
But also have you noticed players have been getting more violent or players are getting ejected for the littlest stuff like for example there has been so many fights in the past month on the court then there has been in a entire season and also players have been also getting ejected from the game by a ref for the littlest stuff like when they make a highlight play and they do a celebration and the ref doesn’t like it they can eject them from the game. Also everybody has been fighting each other for the littlest things. In my opinion i think this might be a stunk to gain more audience.
Have you also noticed NBA might favor one player to win awards more than other for example last year when Nikola Jokic won the MVP last year he did deserve it but when you look back at the footage it kind of don’t make sense because for most of his assist he got they didn’t really count because when he throws the pass even after 5 seconds after the play the assist still goes to him. This year Nikola Jokic is leading 3rd in points 1st in rebounds and 3rd in assist but he still only has a 25% of getting MVP. The person with the 75% chance of wining is Shai Gilgeous-Alexander he is leading the NBA 1st in points and that’s it rest of his stats aren’t even top 10 in the NBA this year but yet he still has triple the odds of getting MVP this year.
