1. Abraham
“The Founding Father of Monotheism”

In my opinion, while he might not be the most popular, I’d say he’s one of the most influential people in history. Abraham, whether you believe he’s real or not, has made a lasting impact on Earth. According to the big 3 monotheistic religion, Christianity, Islam, and Judaism, Abraham is one of the founding fathers of monotheistic religion. I feel like It’d be slightly controversial if I put a religious figure as the most glazed person in history, but why not include the person who pretty much created all of the religions? Abraham is the reason we have most of the religious figures that all these religions worship, and is worshipping something also not glazing in some capacity?
2. Julius Caesar
“I came, I saw, I conquered.”

I feel like some way or another, in school you always hear about this guy. In history, there’s always some kind of connection to him, but what has he even done? In my opinion, I’ve got no idea what Caesar has done. I know he fought a bunch of wars and was a questionable leader. Rome was one of the largest empires, and it was probably all because of this guy. Now in the present day, you would assume he’s not that influential, right? Wrong. Our calendar is the way it is because of him. It used to be 10 months, but when he came around, he decided it should be twelve months. Plus, all of the romance languages as well. Spanish, Portuguese, French, and Italian all because of Caesar. For the most part, I feel like a lot of people know Caesar just for who he is, rather than what he’s done, but somehow still gets talked about in history all the time. Julius Caesar may as well be one of the most glazed people in history of all time.
3. George Washington
“Let us raise a standard to which the wise and honest can repair; the rest is in the hands of God.”

Undeniably, Washington has to be one of the most glazed leaders of all time. From elementary school to high school, you’re taught this guy a lot. Maybe it’s because we live in America, or maybe it’s because he’s just that nuts. The guy was a great leader. The Revolutionary War was a fight against all odds. Imagine being a group of ragtag freedom fighters facing up against undeniably one of the strongest empires of all time, and yet somehow you still win the war. George Washington set a standard that this country still follows to this day. I think Washington has always been glazed. Ever since he led the revolution, he’s always been talked about. In history class, in the government, pretty much everywhere. You think of America, you think Washington. Nearly 300 years after he’s been dead, he still gets talked about for what he’s done.
4. Shakespeare
“The fool doth think he is wise, but the wise man knows himself to be a fool”

Maybe this is just me, but I feel like Shakespeare is glazed a lot, but nobody really cares about what the guy does. Personally, I feel like I’ve heard about this guy a lot, and I feel like sure, he’s alright. He wrote Romeo and Juliet, Hamlet, Macbeth, which are definitely some of the most important pieces of literature to exist. For the time he existed, he did quite a lot. To me, his writing is kind of archaic but still stands the test of time. He was relevant by the late 1500’s, but still, he stands as a symbol for English poetry today. Everywhere in school he still gets talked about, and lets be honest, your English teachers praise this guy like he’s some legend, which sounds like glazing to me.
5. Genghis Khan
“There is no value in anything until it is finished.”

You’ve all heard about him. Genghis Khan, the Mongol warlord. So powerful he nearly made the Chinese people vanish. Let’s be honest, what else do we know about Genghis Khan beyond him being a bloodthirsty emperor who nearly took all of Asia? Like nothing! The guy was so bad that we know him just from his name. Tell me that’s not some kind of glaze. Even more than that, he had the largest land empire in existence, and actually helped create the Silk Road which helped Europe enter its renaissance. I feel like being recognizable means a lot. Honestly, I’m shocked he still gets talked about so much. When I learned about him in history, my teacher made sure to say how this guy was no joke. When people hear about Genghis Khan, they know who that guy is, and they know what he’s capable of. Khan was one of the best leaders, but also most feared of all time, which to me at least sounds like glaze a little bit.
