Last year was the first musical at North high school in many years. Students have jumped headfirst into the experience of putting together a musical, something that we didn’t have at North for a long time, and this year it showed the dedication and effort that students put into it. We had spoke to several students about their experience in the musical, and what it meant to them to have this artistic and dramatic outlet.

The students are backstage preparing for the show. We interviewed some of the cast members of the play.

We interviewed Peter, the lead character.

“It started off a little bit weird but we been pulling it off, we’re going to do great today, i think its going to turn out amazing because we have a really great cast, really good energy.”

As I interviewed them, I noticed everyone was running up and down trying to get what they needed and finishing any last touches before the play.

Peter had said

“Last years play was a musical and this years play is really more acting base so it was definitely a lot more for everybody to learn their lines, and to learn their cues.”
