The impeachment trial of Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas has the nation by storm, causing debates across the political spectrum. Mayorkas faces allegations of misconduct and abuse of power, leading to people wanting him out of office.

Most Republicans and Conservative-leaning Independents are criticizing Mayorkas for failing to secure the southern border and many other ethical and constitutional violations. Meanwhile, most Democrats and Liberal-leaning independents are supporting Mayorkas and thinking it’s a stupid political power scheme from the right.

The reason why they’re impeaching Mayorkas is because of his handling of the southern border because of deaths and crime from illegal immigration. and breaking the people’s trust.

In my opinion, the Impeachment trial showed us how much people try to solve problems that don’t exist. We have a problem at the border but Mayorkas is doing a decent job. Yes the Government could do more but trying to impeach people isn’t the way to go.
