I am an interviewer for North High School Newspaper.
“What i cover” My role in journalism is doing interviews of fun topics me and my team come up with. I come up with a topic and go around interviewing people with questions me and my team make about the topic. My job as an interviewer is to present questionnaires,pose questions,and listen to and record the answers of the interviewees.I am hoping to get more topics about what teenagers are interested in hearing like for example stuff going on in the world at the moment, new trends, or even some current seasonal topics.
“My Background” My name is Valeria. I’ve lived in Massachusetts my entire life. Im into reading and listening to music, enjoy reading mysteries and thrillers. Im into R&B music,Latin,Rap music genres.My favorite School subject is my psychology class,Id say psychology is my favorite subject because i enjoy learning about people’s minds and learning people’s brains.I have a keen eye for detail and a dedication thorough research.Id like to dive into diverse topics,bringing clarity and insight to you readers.Id like to do this by finding more topics young adults can relate and connect to more.

Sara is a senior at North High school and a staff writer for The Arctic News. Eager to story-tell, and provide commentary, Sara wants to pursue a topic regarding current events, school life, and culture. Outside of school, Sara enjoys watching anime, going on long walks, and volunteering. After graduation, she looks forward to pursuing business related degrees.
Sara is freshly part of the newspaper staff, and is looking forward to learning new skills and building new connections in this class. Sara believes that journalism is necessary for a strong community, and plays an important role in representing the student body.
